ISD ThermalPro Industrial Sectional Doors

ISD ThermalPro sectional doors perfectly fit in premises equipped with cooling and freezing systems, i.e. food manufacturing plants, food storage warehouses and sales outlets. They perfectly seal premises, isolate rooms with great temperature difference, maintain installed temperature regime, and significantly reduce the loss. Variability of lift types allows installation in premises with diverse architecture.

Opening Dimensions

Mounting

Checking Dimensional Details
  • All the necessary measurements are taken inside the premises with just a measuring tape and a water level. Every dimension should be taken at least in three points:
  • H — opening height (distance from floor to opening top);
  • B — opening width (distance between left and right side of the opening);
  • h — headroom (distance between opening top and ceiling) 150 mm;
  • b1/ b2 — left/right side room (distance between a corresponding opening edge and obstacle) 120 mm minimum; with heating cable — 150 mm minimum;
  • L — backroom.
  • When measuring Н and В the largest figure is taken for final dimension.
  • When measuring h, b1, b2 and L the smallest figure is taken for final dimension.

Difference of floor level along the opening should not exceed 10 mm. Make sure that mounting surface of headroom and side rooms is level. The inside perimeter of the door opening should be framed with metal or other solid material in case the surface is not not concrete or solid enough to install tracks system.

Overhead mounting. All the tracks are mounted on the headroom and side rooms inside the premise. Side room clearance — from 120 mm, with heating cable — from 150 mm. Overhead mounting. Bottom aluminium profile has thermal break as well. Double weather seal perfectly seals the opening and levels floor unevenness. If “heating perimeter” option is chosen, the heating cable is laid inside the bottom weather seal.

Double sealing of door opening: side double-lip seal is mounted between the door leaf and vertical angle, while outside double-lip seal — between the opening and door leaf. So the door opening is sealed with four weather seals which form additional air chambers providing exceptional insulation.

Extra information

  • Door leaf should smoothly slide vertically along the tracks, and be properly balanced, i. e. counterbalancing mechanism should compensate leaf weight.
  • For opening the door in manual operation use only the door handle.
  • Do not lift too much force when opening/closing the door. Prevent any sharp movements of the door.
  • Don’t strike the door leaf or obstruct its movement.
  • Keep tracks and rollers clean, as dirt may prevent the door from smooth movement and cause overloading and damage of the door opener (if used).
  • Keep the door opening clear of any objects and litter as it may unbalance and jam the door leaf.
