  • The Customer should prepare the opening in accordance with technical specification sent by the manufacturer. At the beginning of installation works the customer brings power supply to the object.
The doors are installed in accordance with the Production Project (PPR) and Instructions for Installation, Start-up and Operation of the Doors according to specifications and approved by the Customer. When the doors are put into operation a special Acceptance Committee examines their operation and compliance to the requirements of Test Program and Procedure Album. The door leaf is made of two layers of very strong pvc-coated polyester fabric. In case of door leaf damage you need not to dismantle the whole door to change the leaf.

Intermediate elevating support post is moved with an electrical winch supported by a special safety device. Extra information

  • Operate hangar doors carefully following the instructions of Operation Manual and Technical Data for the hangar doors.
  • Only qualified personnel can install DoorHan hangar doors and must be fully knowledgeable in the design, construction, technical operation of the subject doors according to the corresponding Specifications and Documents. The installation specialists must have electro-technical and mechanical certified qualifications and have knowledge of all technical parameters and safety devices of the doors. They must produce corresponding trade certificates before installation. During the operation and technical maintenance the staff must fulfil all safety requirements as described in the Operation Manual and special instructions.
  • 3. Prior to door operation the operator should examine the door leaves for signs of wear and tear, torn or broken sections of the seal. Special lifting equipment is not required.
  • If the operator detects any failures threatening safe operation of the doors and he can’t eliminate them by himself, the operator, without operating the doors, should report to the responsible person and make an appropriate entry in the log.
  • The operator should not:
  • - transfer control of the doors without permission of the person in charge;
  • - get distracted from his responsibilities;
  • - leave unattended the control unit with the inserted key-mark;
  • - start the reverse movement of the doors prior to their complete stop except when he needs to prevent an accident.
  • The control cabinet is supplied with electricity after the toggle switch is turned on, at that a signal lamp lights up on the control cabinet.
  • Hold UP or DOWN button to run the doors after power is supplied to the control cabinet. After that light and sound alarms are on, gear motors run and door curtain starts to rise or lower. If UP or DOWN button is released during opening or closing of the door, the drives will stop automatically.
  • When the door curtain reaches its end position (DOWN or UP) the limit switch stops the drives, sound and light alarms switch off.
  • After the door operation is finished switch off power supply to the control cabinet with toggle switch.
  • Description and specification for the component parts (gear motors, control units, etc.) are provided in the corresponding Technical Data (Operation Manual) attached to the Technical Data for hangar doors.
  • One should strictly observe safety regulations during door maintenance, routine inspection, troubleshooting and operation. Staff should be examined for knowledge of safety regulations at least once a year by a special commission. The results of the examination are recorded in a special journal.

DoorHan warrants the hangar doors to operate properly for a period of 2 years from purchase date. The warranty period can be extended should regular verifiable maintenance be carried out.
  • On Customer’s request the door is supplied with spare parts, tools and accessories.
